Find out the true meaning of the testing and the testers mindset. How that mindset when applied across the whole team can drive the right behaviours and generate requirements that more closely represent what the customer really needs.
The course(s) are accredited by ICAgile. The course outlines follow the ICAgile guidelines. The course consists of two parts:
- ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Testing (ICP-TST) – a 2 day course for the foundations. Be prepared to also do some homework.
- ICAgile Certified Professional in Test Automation (ICT-ATA) – an optional one day course after the foundations that could be taken as part of the foundations making it a 3 day course or done separately. This is a lab oriented course so be prepared to build real tests from real requirements for a real application.
Attend and realize the benefits of a truly agile and value producing process. Agile processes are highly collaborative in nature and the course could (or should) include Business Analysts, Product Managers, Architects and Developers as attendees as well as testers. Attending as a group has more benefits in terms of learning as a group and sharing the same experiences.
The course is highly interactive and employs the concept of learn by doing. You will be working on a real life case study as you progress through the course to increase the learning outcomes.
Get an expert and in depth look at the world of Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development and Specification By Example and be able to apply these concepts immediately in your own projects.
Attendees will be certified by ICAgile provided they demonstrate learning of the objectives. The objectives are listed in the links mentioned above. There is no exam, the instructor will judge based on the level of participation in the course and homework items.
Course prices are $1500 for the 2 day course and $2100 for the 3 day course. To take the one day test automation course by itself the price is $800 (prices are per attendee and exclude GST).
